Inside Sales Representative
BRT is looking for a professional Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic Sales team. This is an entry level position.
Purpose of Position
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for uncovering and qualifying Enterprise Content Management (ECM) opportunities to the field sales organization in an assigned region.
Primary Duties
- Perform opportunity discovery calls within assigned region's targeted accounts to uncover existing ECM projects
- In conjunction with the Field Marketing team, initiate, develop, and manage outbound opportunity discovery calls and email campaigns
- Qualify and develop prospects, determining project timeframe and funding
- Maintain and enhance the corporate database of prospect contacts within the assigned region's target accounts
- Serve as first point of contact within BRT for all inbound inquiries
- Maintain pertinent information in lead management databases
- Report weekly to the Sales Manager on the status of opportunities uncovered and on ongoing activities
- Follow the education and training plan as defined for your role
Skills and Knowledge
The position requires the following skills and knowledge:
- Preferred 12 months of telemarketing, telesales, or other marketing support experience in a software or high technology company
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & a contact management database
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Adaptable to a fast paced, technology driven, environment
Academic Requirements
The position requires a Bachelor's degree, College diploma or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
General office environment with regular business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm EST. Work outside of these hours may be necessary due to project schedules, and/or deadlines.
